Please help! I dont know the best way to take care of my African Dwarf frog! I'll definatly have more than one!!
I have 4 African Dwarf Frogs. They are pretty easy to care for, I keep mine in my aquarium with about 8 fish. It's a 30 gallon aquarium. I have the regular filter & the bubbles for air. They eat freeze dried bloodworms, I just sprinkle them in the tank when I feed the fish. The fish also will eat them. I have the regular aquarium light is all. They are fun to watch, they are so klumsy & silly acting. They seem pretty dumb really. They sometimes will fight over food, nobody ever gets hurt. They will spend so much time guarding their food that its all gone by the time they try to eat finally. They are a lot of fun. Good Luck with yours.

So… I just got an African dwarf frog, who is with 1 male betta, and 3 small platies.. How should I feed him and how should I take care of him? Details please. Also, what should I feed him, and will he probably be O.K. with my betta??? Thanks guys
I have an african dwarf from and he just eats the fish food. I had him in with a betta and he was fine. They are low maintenance. You don't really have to do anything.

red legged walking frog care?
help.
yes, it has crickets, bark?, night and day lamps, a very large tank, clean water, etc. I understand your concern, but I don't need to be given the third degree. My family and I got it from a pet store and we already have two turtles. Just wanting to make sure we know all there is to know…the specifics.
In consideration of your frog, my best advice is to let it go where it can survive. Frogs were never intended to be human pets or companions. That's why God gave us dogs, cats, and fish. Owning a pet frog certainly makes you unique among your friends, I'm sure. But your search for this type of attention is cruel to your animal. Let him go. If you refuse to release him into the wild where he belongs, then you must provide a suitable environment – heat, humidity, foilage, proper water, etc.. As for food, you need to give your frog access to live insects to eat, especially mosquitos and flies. They also consume large quantities of insect larvae. Can you do this? If not, you're depriving your frog of the elements he needs to survive, and soon he will die. Please let him go.

Does anyone have info on the care of frog eggs?
My 7 year old's class is studying frogs. His teacher asked for volunteers to got collect some frog eggs, which we did.
I have them in a small bucket out in my garage. It's not supposed to be too cold (above freezing) and I'm just wondering if they will be ok out there.
I realize that if they were still in the creek where we found them they's be exposed to the elements and the cold.
I just don't want them to die before I get a chance to bring them to school to put in their new aquarium home on Monday morning.
Do I need to do anything with them between now and then?
I know absolutely nothing about frogs so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Keep them wet. Don't let the kids eat them. Make sure you feed them. Change their water every now and then. The most important thing is……..Never ever put a carnivorous animal with them.
