Amphibian caresheets and tips

I caught about 4 small Newts in a Creek in my front yard…I do believe they are Red-spotted Newts in their younger stage of life…and I was wondering if anyone knew how to care for them, and what are the signs that indicate they are changing o adapt to life on land? Any help will be greatly appreciated! ^-^

I live in Illinois and it still gets below freezing at night. If I put it back in my yard the dog will just dig it up again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Since the salamander is still hibernating you need to let him continue to do so. Get a small plastic storage container (like for leftovers) get some moss. Drill some holes into the container for ventilation and fill it with damp moss. Put the salamander in the moss and let him bury himself. Put the container in a dark cool place and check on it only once a week to ensure the moss remains moist. After the last frost let the salamander go.

I need to know what is the best ideal set-up for these reptiles and amphibians in building them a habitat to live in!
NOTE:I’ve had them for a year but just want to make sure for when winter comes thats they have the proper house to live in!

I have an African Clawed water frog. He lives in a tank that holds about 2 1/2 gallons of water. When I originally got him, he was very small and in a smaller tank. Since then I've gotten him a bigger tank and he's grown. I feed him shrimp pellets, and maybe around every month I give him 3-5 feeder minnows to eat. I clean his tank about every two weeks.
Is there any way to improve my care on my frog, and if I'm doing something wrong, can you tell me?

i'm moving my white's tree frog out of his small 5 gallon tank to a 15 gallon tank. My parents said i could get another pet to put in that 5 gallon tank. so i need help choosing a reptile/amphibian pet that doesn't require alot of room or any fancy plants and easy to take care of and please no snakes
not a water dragon ——- they get up too 3 feet and need a water dish they can soak in —- mine is still young and in a 30 gallon tank and as soon as he reaches max size 3 feet he will need a bigger tank so. dont got with a water dragon
Fire-bellied Newt —– you can keep up too 3 in a 10 gallon tank so 1 in a 5 should be suffecient
